Bios

• Ms Elizabeth

  Miss Elizabeth was born in Queens, NY. While she was still very young, her family moved to Honduras, Central America where she spent her childhood and grew up speaking both Spanish and English. She moved back to the United States and attended SUNY Old Westbury where she received her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Miss Elizabeth taught kindergarten and second grade at the South Huntington School District in South Huntington, NY and later on received her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Stonybrook University in NY. Now living in Cleveland, Miss Elizabeth is thrilled to bring The Goddard School to the Highland Heights area. Creating a school environment that focuses on the way young children learn, is nurturing and makes a child's first school experience positive and fun is truly a dream come true for her.

• Ms Gina

  Miss Gina is our Director of Operations. She has earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Development from The Ohio State University and a Master's Degree in Education. Miss Gina has been working with children since 2006. She joined our team in 2013. Ms. Gina started at our school as a toddler teacher and transitioned into the director position in 2014.

• Ms Gwen

  Ms. Gwen has earned an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education with a focus in Pre-School as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood through Grade 12 Education from the Francisco Morazan University of Honduras. Ms. Gwen also holds several certificates from the Leader in Me program, a leadership program for kids of all ages from Stephen Covey, as well as from the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People; a Program for which she was facilitator and coordinator working with parents and students. Ms. Gwen has been teaching since 1997 in both Early Childhood and Elementary positions. Ms. Gwen is our Director of Education and our Spanish teacher. Her experience with educational curriculums gives her all the tools needed to guide our school to the next level.

• Ms Danielle

  Ms. Danielle has earned her Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education from Bowling Green University and a Master's Degree in Education from Cleveland State University. Ms. Danielle has served our school as Lead Teacher in the Preschool classroom 7. She loves creating a warm and cheerful environment for her students every day and now brings her expertise as assistant to the directors in the office! She has been a part of our Goddard School since 2015. Certifications: CPR, First Aid, Communicable Disease, Abuse & Neglect, Conscious Discipline and GSU Trainings

• Ms Amber

  Ms. Amber is an Assistant Teacher in the Infant Room 2. She has a degree in Education and loves teaching our youngest students. Ms. Amber joined our team in 2023.

• Claudia

  Ms. Claudia is Co-lead in our preschool program, Room 9. She has a bachelor's degree in elementary education and has been teaching since 2013. Ms. Claudia joined our team in 2022.

• Ms Debbie

  Ms. Debbie is the Co-Lead Teacher in Preschool, Room 9. She has been an early childhood educator since 2000. Ms. Debbie has a Child Development Associate Degree. She loves storytelling and is known for bringing a suitcase full of props to her classroom.

• Mr Gabe

  Mr. Gabe is our Summer Camp and Kids Club teacher. Mr. Gabe is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree. He joined our team in 2018.

• Ms Gaby

  Ms. Gabby is the Lead Teacher in Room 6. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and has worked with toddlers since 2020. She enjoys connecting with her students and helping them discover the world around them.

• Mr Herminio

  Mr. Perich is Lead Teacher in our Pre-K classroom, Room 11. He has a Master's Degree in Education. He previously taught in California and has been working at Goddard since 2017. Certifications: CPR, First Aid, Communicable Disease, Abuse & Neglect and GSU Trainings

• Ms Jamireia

  Ms. Jam, is Lead Teacher in Room 3. She holds a Child Development Associates and is pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Jam joined our Goddard School in 2018. Certifications: CPR, First Aid, Communicable Disease, Abuse & Neglect, Infant Sleep and GSU Trainings

• Ms Laura

  Ms. Laura is Lead Teacher in our infant program, Room 2. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education from John Carroll University. Ms. Laura has worked with young children since 2010, ranging from toddlers to elementary-aged students. She joined our school in 2020. Certifications: CPR, First Aid, Abuse & Neglect and GSU Trainings

• Ms Leah

  Ms.Leah is Lead Teacher in our Discovery Preschool Program, classroom 7. Ms. Leah has her Bachelor's Degree in Education and joined our school in 2018. Certifications: CPR, First Aid, Communicable Disease, Abuse & Neglect and GSU Trainings

• Ms Lindsay

  Ms. Lindsay is Lead Teacher in our Preschool Program, Classroom 10. She has her Bachelor's Degree from Bowling Green State University. Ms. Lindsay has worked as an early childhood teacher since 2012. Certifications: CPR, First Aid, Communicable Disease, Abuse & Neglect and GSU Trainings

• Ms Lyssa

  Miss Lyssa is Lead Teacher in our Pre-Kindergarten Program, Room 12. She has her Bachelor's Degree from Kent State University in Child and Family Studies. She has experience working with children since 2010. Ms. Lyssa joined our program in 2016. Certifications: CPR, First Aid, Communicable Disease, Abuse & Neglect and GSU Trainings

• Ms Maggie

  Ms. Maggie is Lead Teacher in our Infant Program, Room 1. She has her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Lakeland Community College. Miss Maggie has been teaching infants since 2008. She joined our school in 2014. Certifications: CPR, First Aid, Communicable Disease, Abuse & Neglect, Infant Sleep and GSU Trainings

• Ms Niki

  Ms. Niki is our Pre-toddler Lead Teacher, in Room 4. Ms. Nikki has a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Cleveland State University. She has taught at our school since 2014, working with infants and toddlers. Certifications: CPR, First Aid, Communicable Disease, Abuse & Neglect, Infant Sleep and GSU Trainings

• Ms Shalese

  Ms. Shalese is Co-Lead Teacher in our Pre-K program, Classroom 12. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education. Ms. Shalese has worked in the field of Early Childhood Education since 2012. She joined our team in 2020. Certifications: CPR, First Aid, Communicable Disease, Abuse & Neglect, Infant Sleep and GSU Trainings

• Ms Sophie

  Ms. Sophie is Co-Lead Teacher in Pre-K, Room 11. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education and joined our team in 2023. Ms. Sophie loves to travel and enjoys learning Spanish.

• Ms Amalia

  Ms. Amalia is the Lead Teacher in our Toddler Program, Room 5. She holds a Child Development Associate Certification. Ms. Amalia has been a part of our Goddard team since 2019. Certifications: CPR, First Aid, Communicable Disease, Abuse & Neglect, Infant Sleep and GSU Trainings

• Ms Ari

  Ms. Ari is Assistant Teacher in our Discovery Preschool Program, Classroom 7. She has worked in the Early Education field since 2018. Ms. Ari joined our team in 2022.

• Ms Emily

  Ms. Emily, is our Assistant Teacher in our Infant Program, Room 1. She enjoys working with the older infants and providing a great environment for our youngest students. Ms. Emily joined our team in 2018.

• Ms Hannah

  Ms. Hannah is our Assistant Teacher in Room 5. She has a Child Development Associates and has been working in Early Childhood Education since 2019. Ms. Hannah joined our team in 2023.

• Ms KC

  Ms. KC is the assistant teacher in Room 10. She has a degree from Lakeland Community College in early childhood education. Ms. KC has been working as a preschool teacher since 2016. She joined our team in 2022.

• Ms Keisha

  Ms. Keisha is the Assistant Teacher in our Two's Program, Classroom 4. She started her career with us in 2013. Returning in 2021, Ms. Keisha work supports the classroom teacher and helps to provide a safe, fun, environment for the children.

• Ms Kiara

  Ms. Kiara is one of our Assistant Teachers in the Preschool Program and leads the School Age Program. She has been in the early education field since 2020 and is currently pursuing a degree in education. She joined our team in 2023.

• Ms Lesly

  Ms. Lesly is our Assistant Teacher in the Get Set Program, Room 6. She has a Bachelor's Degree from UNITEC University in Honduras. She joined our program in 2015. Certifications: CPR, First Aid, Communicable Disease, Abuse & Neglect, Infant Sleep, Conscious Discipline and GSU Trainings

• Ms Rhonda

  Miss Rhonda is Assistant Teacher in Room 2. She has been working in Early Childhood Education since 2012 and joined our school in 2014. Ms. Rhonda works alongside Ms. Rachel in the infant classroom. Certifications: CPR, First Aid, Communicable Disease, Abuse & Neglect, Infant Sleep and GSU Trainings

• Ms Sarah

  Ms. Sarah has been working with children since 2013. She enjoys working with children of all ages. Ms. Sarah joined our team in 2023.

• Ms Tawanna

  Miss Tawanna is Co-Lead in Room 3. She has her Child Development Associates and has worked at our school since 2014. Ms. Tawanna loves to sing with her students. When she is not working, she enjoys traveling and discovering new foods.

• Ms Julia

  Ms. Julia is one of our Resource Teachers. She works in the toddler and preschool programs. Ms. Julia is pursuing a degree in Education. She joined our school in 2023.
